Gallery

Please take time to enjoy the gallery photos. Many of these

breath taking scenes are located right here in Yellow Springs!

They can be ordered in various sizes, and also as cards!

You will also notice that this gallery includes some digital pieces

which I have created! Enjoy!

Title: The Yellow Spring

The Yellow Spring: The Yellow Spring is the largest and best known spring in Greene County. It seems likely that the iron-bearing spring, from which the Village of Yellow Springs was named, was formed at the time of the last glacier. It’s healing properties became known to cure everything from headaches to rheumatism. People came from miles around to drink and bathe in the water.

Title: The Cascades

The Cascades in black and white: The Cascades - A waterfall formed because the top layer is a solid resistant layer of Cedarville dolomite rock. The layer underneath is Springfield dolomite rock which is much more soft, and eroded away more easily. Looking up stream you can see the bridge of an old stage coach route. This bridge now leads to the Glen Helen Outdoor Education Center.
